# Keyboard Translator vs iTranslate Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: Keyboard Translator at 4.2 against iTranslate Keyboard's 3.2. Keyboard Translator also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (414 vs 106). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keyboard Translator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and iTranslate Keyboard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Keyboard Translator's written reviews are positive against 24% of iTranslate Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
