# Eventime vs Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Eventime at none against Countdown's shown. Eventime also leads on ratings volume (266 vs 78). Countdown's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (60% vs 46%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eventime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eventime ships an update every 5 weeks, Countdown every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
