# Eventime vs Countdown Creator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eventime at 46% against Countdown Creator's 0%. Eventime also leads on ratings volume (266 vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Countdown Creator's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eventime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventime has 266 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Eventime's written reviews are positive against 0% of Countdown Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eventime ships an update every 5 weeks, Countdown Creator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
