# Zone Tool vs ImmichTV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Zone Tool at 100% against ImmichTV's 20%. Zone Tool also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). ImmichTV's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 2.8) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 38 months). On ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Zone Tool costs $0.99 and ImmichTV $2.99 up front. ImmichTV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Zone Tool asks for nothing beyond the download.

ImmichTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zone Tool has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Zone Tool's written reviews are positive against 20% of ImmichTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zone Tool ships an update every 38 months, ImmichTV every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
