# Notes vs Listor

The clearest difference is ads: Listor at none against Notes's shown. Listor also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Notes's advantage is ratings volume (675 vs 6) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Listor sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes has 675 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Listor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notes ships an update monthly, Listor every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
