# Fluent AAC vs Proloquo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fluent AAC at free with in-app purchases against Proloquo's subscription. Fluent AAC also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Proloquo's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 24%). Both are free to download. Fluent AAC sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Proloquo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
