# Share2PC vs File Transfer・Share my Data

The clearest difference is rating: File Transfer・Share my Data at 3.0 against Share2PC's 1.0. File Transfer・Share my Data also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 1). Share2PC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 23%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Share2PC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and File Transfer・Share my Data sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

File Transfer・Share my Data holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: File Transfer・Share my Data has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Share2PC's written reviews are positive against 23% of File Transfer・Share my Data's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Share2PC ships an update every 3 weeks, File Transfer・Share my Data monthly. Both last shipped on September 17, 2026.
