# Share2PC vs Portable WiFi

The clearest difference is rating: Portable WiFi at 4.1 against Share2PC's 1.0. Portable WiFi also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 1). Share2PC's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 14%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Share2PC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Portable WiFi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Portable WiFi holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Portable WiFi has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Share2PC's written reviews are positive against 14% of Portable WiFi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Share2PC ships an update every 3 weeks, Portable WiFi every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
