# Share2PC vs File Transfer

The clearest difference is rating: File Transfer at 5.0 against Share2PC's 1.0. File Transfer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Share2PC's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Share2PC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and File Transfer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Share2PC ships an update every 3 weeks, File Transfer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
