# Flatmates vs Inked Up

The clearest difference is rating: Flatmates at 4.5 against Inked Up's 1.0. Flatmates also leads on ratings volume (58 vs 1). Inked Up's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flatmates sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Inked Up sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flatmates holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flatmates has 58 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flatmates ships an update monthly, Inked Up weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
