# QR Creator vs Squirrel VPN Internet Security

The clearest difference is update cadence: Squirrel VPN Internet Security at every 2 weeks against QR Creator's every 18 months. QR Creator's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (74 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR Creator sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Squirrel VPN Internet Security sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
