# Luvly vs Templ

The clearest difference is rating: Luvly at 4.6 against Templ's 1.0. Luvly also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 2). Templ's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luvly sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Templ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Luvly holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luvly has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Luvly's written reviews are positive against 83% of Templ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Luvly ships an update every 3 weeks, Templ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
