# FREEDOMWare DMC vs LiftOff

The clearest difference is rating: FREEDOMWare DMC at 5.0 against LiftOff's 4.3. FREEDOMWare DMC also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). LiftOff's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FREEDOMWare DMC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiftOff has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FREEDOMWare DMC ships an update every 10 months, LiftOff every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
