# Faves vs Car Lounge

The clearest difference is rating: Car Lounge at 5.0 against Faves's 4.5. Car Lounge also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Faves's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1) and chart position (#127 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faves sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Car Lounge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Car Lounge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faves has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Faves ships an update every 6 weeks, Car Lounge every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
