# stabcam vs VanTop Gimo

The clearest difference is rating: stabcam at 4.2 against VanTop Gimo's 2.3. stabcam also leads on ratings volume (395 vs 13) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). VanTop Gimo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (50% vs 34%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. stabcam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. VanTop Gimo asks for nothing beyond the download.

stabcam holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: stabcam has 395 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of stabcam's written reviews are positive against 50% of VanTop Gimo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

stabcam ships an update every 2 weeks, VanTop Gimo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
