# Headphones Controller vs final CONNECT

The clearest difference is rating: Headphones Controller at 1.4 against final CONNECT's 1.0. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Headphones Controller holds the better App Store score, 1.4 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Headphones Controller's written reviews are positive against 6% of final CONNECT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Headphones Controller ships an update every 2 months, final CONNECT every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
