# Pocket Chaplet vs Padre Pio

Pocket Chaplet and Padre Pio both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pocket Chaplet's written reviews are positive against 55% of Padre Pio's. Pocket Chaplet also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Padre Pio's advantage is ratings volume (298 vs 31) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Chaplet sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Padre Pio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pocket Chaplet against 4.8 for Padre Pio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Padre Pio has 298 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two.
