# VMC CONNECT vs QR Store

The clearest difference is ads: VMC CONNECT at none against QR Store's shown. VMC CONNECT also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). QR Store's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VMC CONNECT ships an update every 6 months, QR Store every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
