# Snacktime vs Quirqus

The clearest difference is rating: Snacktime at 4.7 against Quirqus's 4.4. Snacktime also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 8). Quirqus's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snacktime holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snacktime has 62 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Snacktime's written reviews are positive against 75% of Quirqus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snacktime ships an update weekly, Quirqus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
