# VIDaaS vs RESCO

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RESCO at none against VIDaaS's 9. VIDaaS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VIDaaS sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. RESCO asks for nothing beyond the download.

VIDaaS ships an update every 3 weeks, RESCO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
