# Incognito vs Skitter

The clearest difference is price: Skitter at Free against Incognito's $0.99. Skitter also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Incognito's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (167 vs 6). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Skitter is free to download; Incognito costs $0.99 up front. Incognito sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Skitter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Incognito holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Incognito has 167 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Incognito's written reviews are positive against 67% of Skitter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Incognito ships an update every 6 weeks, Skitter every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
