# Geez Amharic Dictionary vs Sinksar

The clearest difference is price: Sinksar at Free against Geez Amharic Dictionary's $4.99. Sinksar also leads on rating (4.9 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 72 months). Geez Amharic Dictionary's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Sinksar is free to download; Geez Amharic Dictionary costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sinksar holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sinksar has 41 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Geez Amharic Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 75% of Sinksar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Geez Amharic Dictionary ships an update every 72 months, Sinksar every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
