# Pic vs Film Negative Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Film Negative Scanner at 4.3 against Pic's 1.6. Pic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Film Negative Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Pic's written reviews are positive against 0% of Film Negative Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
