# Typing Speed Check vs Sticky Widgets

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Typing Speed Check at 100% against Sticky Widgets's 40%. Typing Speed Check also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Sticky Widgets's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (30K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Widgets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Typing Speed Check asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sticky Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 30K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Typing Speed Check's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sticky Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Typing Speed Check ships an update every 5 weeks, Sticky Widgets every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
