# Grid++ vs Grid Post

The clearest difference is update cadence: Grid Post at every 3 months against Grid++'s every 19 months. Grid Post also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 75%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Grid++'s advantage is ratings volume (161 vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid++ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Grid Post sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid Post holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grid++ has 161 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Grid++'s written reviews are positive against 93% of Grid Post's.

Grid++ ships an update every 19 months, Grid Post every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
