# Barre | Down Dog vs Barre Eclipse

The clearest difference is monetization model: Barre Eclipse at free with in-app purchases against Barre | Down Dog's subscription. Barre Eclipse also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Barre | Down Dog's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 91) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barre | Down Dog sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Barre Eclipse sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
