# Barre | Down Dog vs Arius

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Barre | Down Dog at 23K against Arius's 2. Arius's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barre | Down Dog sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Arius sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Barre | Down Dog against 5.0 for Arius. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barre | Down Dog has 23K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
