# WPS Office vs Super PDF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Super PDF at none against WPS Office's 23. WPS Office's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WPS Office sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Super PDF asks for nothing beyond the download.

WPS Office holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WPS Office has 18K ratings behind it against 366, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of WPS Office's written reviews are positive against 86% of Super PDF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WPS Office ships an update fortnightly, Super PDF every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
