# M vs Violets

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Violets at 61% against M's 0%. Violets also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.5). M's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (389 vs 79). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. M sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Violets sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

M holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 389 and 79 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of M's written reviews are positive against 61% of Violets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
