# Grid vs InstaGrid Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Grid at 4.7 against InstaGrid Pro's 1.0. Grid also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). InstaGrid Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and InstaGrid Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grid has 797 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grid ships an update every 3 weeks, InstaGrid Pro every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
