# Megger Link vs PV

The clearest difference is update cadence: PV at every 6 months against Megger Link's every 15 months. Megger Link's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Megger Link ships an update every 15 months, PV every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
