# VOOY! vs RCN Total

The clearest difference is ads: VOOY! at none against RCN Total's shown. VOOY! also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). RCN Total's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (3K vs 17). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RCN Total holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RCN Total has 3K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VOOY!'s written reviews are positive against 66% of RCN Total's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VOOY! ships an update every 3 weeks, RCN Total fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
