# Smarter Grill vs Lumen

The clearest difference is rating: Lumen at 5.0 against Smarter Grill's 2.3. Lumen also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). Smarter Grill's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
