# TENS vs Embroidery

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TENS at none against Embroidery's 3. TENS also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Embroidery's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 71 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Embroidery sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. TENS asks for nothing beyond the download.

TENS ships an update every 71 months, Embroidery every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
