# Search & Find vs Scavenger Hunt

The clearest difference is rating: Search & Find at 4.5 against Scavenger Hunt's 3.6. Search & Find also leads on ratings volume (990 vs 59). Scavenger Hunt's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Search & Find sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Scavenger Hunt sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Search & Find holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Search & Find has 990 ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Search & Find's written reviews are positive against 71% of Scavenger Hunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Search & Find ships an update every 3 months, Scavenger Hunt every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
