# 简用计数器 vs Gradient Counter

The clearest difference is ads: 简用计数器 at none against Gradient Counter's shown. 简用计数器 also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Gradient Counter's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gradient Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 简用计数器's written reviews are positive against 33% of Gradient Counter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

简用计数器 ships an update every 4 months, Gradient Counter monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
