# Channels Pro vs StrymTV

The clearest difference is rating: Channels Pro at 4.5 against StrymTV's 3.5. Channels Pro also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 15). StrymTV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Channels Pro sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. StrymTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Channels Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Channels Pro has 4.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Channels Pro's written reviews are positive against 55% of StrymTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Channels Pro ships an update weekly, StrymTV every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
