# Mega IPTV vs StrymTV

The clearest difference is rating: Mega IPTV at 4.5 against StrymTV's 3.5. Mega IPTV also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 13). StrymTV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (56% vs 45%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mega IPTV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. StrymTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mega IPTV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mega IPTV has 3.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Mega IPTV's written reviews are positive against 56% of StrymTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mega IPTV ships an update weekly, StrymTV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
