# Mega IPTV vs Jester Bot

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jester Bot at free with in-app purchases against Mega IPTV's subscription. Jester Bot also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Mega IPTV's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mega IPTV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Jester Bot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jester Bot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mega IPTV has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mega IPTV ships an update weekly, Jester Bot every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
