# Vimeo Create vs Viddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Viddy at every 2 days against Vimeo Create's fortnightly. Vimeo Create's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vimeo Create sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Viddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vimeo Create ships an update fortnightly, Viddy every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
