# Smiling vs FirstWait

The clearest difference is rating: Smiling at 4.5 against FirstWait's 2.3. Smiling also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 3). FirstWait's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smiling sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. FirstWait asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smiling holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smiling has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
