# Draafts vs Ocean

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Draafts at none against Ocean's 8. Ocean's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (18 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ocean sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Draafts asks for nothing beyond the download.

Draafts ships an update every 6 months, Ocean every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
