# Draafts vs LightNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: LightNotes at every 2 weeks against Draafts's every 6 months. LightNotes also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Draafts ships an update every 6 months, LightNotes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
