# Zip vs Hours Calculator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hours Calculator at every 5 days against Zip's every 2 weeks. Zip's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zip sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Hours Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zip ships an update every 2 weeks, Hours Calculator every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
