# ASI Shows vs Promocations

The clearest difference is ads: Promocations at none against ASI Shows's shown. Promocations also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ASI Shows's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ASI Shows against 5.0 for Promocations. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASI Shows has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ASI Shows ships an update every 6 weeks, Promocations every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
