# Bob Evans vs U

Bob Evans and U both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of U's written reviews are positive against 69% of Bob Evans's. U also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Bob Evans's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Bob Evans against 4.8 for U. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bob Evans has 31K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 69% of Bob Evans's written reviews are positive against 100% of U's.

Bob Evans ships an update every 4 months, U every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
