# Farming.io vs Tow N Go

The clearest difference is rating: Tow N Go at 4.6 against Farming.io's 3.6. Tow N Go also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). Farming.io's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Farming.io sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tow N Go sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tow N Go holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tow N Go has 16K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Farming.io's written reviews are positive against 16% of Tow N Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Farming.io ships an update every 5 months, Tow N Go monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
