# Watch Faces vs Watch Faces Gallery + Widgets

The clearest difference is monetization model: Watch Faces Gallery + Widgets at free with in-app purchases against Watch Faces's subscription. Watch Faces's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (573 vs 104). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Watch Faces Gallery + Widgets sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 573 ratings behind it against 104, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 25% and 24% positive.

Watch Faces ships an update every 3 weeks, Watch Faces Gallery + Widgets every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
