# Watch Faces vs Watch Faces

The clearest difference is monetization model: Watch Faces at free with in-app purchases against Watch Faces's subscription. Watch Faces's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Watch Faces sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 573 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch Faces ships an update every 3 weeks, Watch Faces every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
