# FS Golf vs Scoreboard Live Scoring

The clearest difference is rating: FS Golf at 3.1 against Scoreboard Live Scoring's 2.6. FS Golf also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (216 vs 20). Scoreboard Live Scoring's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FS Golf holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FS Golf has 216 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of FS Golf's written reviews are positive against 50% of Scoreboard Live Scoring's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FS Golf ships an update every 3 weeks, Scoreboard Live Scoring every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
